Simplicity, done well.
Nine hundred years ago Song potters made the most valuable objects of their age by taking everything away: one black glaze, one clean line, nothing added. This door does the same. Solid timber, matte black finish, three router lines, a black handle to match. Nothing else.

Sparse, by design.
A matte black finish gives the full panel depth and lets its simplicity speak for itself. Most of this door is deliberate quiet, the way blank silk carries ink. 

Restrained, for precision.
One vertical and two horizontal lines form a measured grid across the surface. Each line is routed at its owndepth, so in side light the door reads as one line passing over two — structure without ornament. 

Subtle, by touch.
The black lever handle sits in the narrow stile, close to a line intersection, matching the panel finish. It blends into the composition: a detail you learn by touch.

Built by door makers.
We have shaped solid timber doors for 35 years. Every door is made in our own factory in Penang, cut, finished and fitted by the same hands.
