FD102

Timeless by design.
This pattern was cut in stone at the Chellah Necropolis in Rabat, Morocco, by Marinid craftsmen between AD 1310 and 1339. We traced the same eight-fold construction, carved it once into solid timber, and left the rest of the door alone.

A quiet mark of character.
The full plain panel is finished in natural wood grain, letting the warmth of the solid timber take centre stage. A single eight-fold star is carved into the surface — like a maker's seal or a signet, it gives the simplicity of the door a distinctive character.

Geometry you can touch.
The star is V-carved on our CNC, each facet cut at an angle so the pattern reads as light and shadow, not print. Every line follows the original Moroccan construction.

Solid timber, thoughtfully finished.
A brass lever handle completes the design, a warm counterpoint against the timber. Every detail is considered to keep the door strong in presence yet restrained in expression.

A guardian of your sanctuary.
Made for the spaces within — a door that brings warmth, privacy and quiet character to the home.

Built by door makers.
We have shaped solid timber doors for 35 years. Every door is made in our own factory in Penang, cut, finished and fitted by the same hands.
