Frequency Stand

Sound deserves a summit.
The Frequency Stand began as The Pointed Hill, our steel-and-timber tribute to Bukit Mertajam, shown at EMERGE, FIND Design Fair Asia 2024. We took that piece off the gallery floor and engineered it into a stand you can live with. Stainless steel is the rock, solid timber is the forest, and your speaker sits at the peak.

The speaker at the summit.
At 658 mm tall, the stand raises a bookshelf speaker towards ear level for a sofa or lounge chair, clear of the furniture and floor that muddy its sound.

A grid that earns its keep.
The stainless steel grid comes straight from The Pointed Hill. Here it doubles as cable routing: speaker wire drops through a slot in the top plate and runs down the column instead of across your floor.

Steel and timber, in the open.
A 5 mm stainless steel top and base hold a column of laser-cut steel and solid timber. Nothing is hidden behind a cover, so the structure is the design.

Built by door makers.
We have shaped solid timber for 35 years. Every stand is made in our own factory in Penang, and no two pieces share the same grain.

Designed with DALI around the KUPID, and suited to compact bookshelf speakers up to 8 kg. Sold as a pair
