ABOUT CLOAKWORK
Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Cloakwork is a multidisciplinary creative who works as a graffiti artist as well as an illustrator. He has been painting around the globe for 10 years, churning out both small and large scale work. His style is quirky, fun and colourful!
Being a rebel, spray cans as his creative weapon of choice felt right, and he is heavily influenced by street culture. He’s always looking to paint something related to his surroundings and the environment. In some ways, Cloakwork’s characters come alive, speak and become part of its surroundings while communicating and interacting with the viewers.
I create art that has a purpose, and I’m honored to partner with Balak’s this time around to bring my iconic design into the homes of Malaysians to help promote the appreciation of local modern art.
