Inspired by resilient light piercing through dense clouds, the Torch of Hope symbolizes illumination that reaches the darkest corners; a testament to unity and collective perseverance in keeping its flames alive.

A collaboration between BALAK’s and designer Edmond Kong, the Torch of Hope is a limited edition accessory specifically created for the 2024 Merdeka Campaign. In an effort to give back to the local community, 10% of profits earned from the sale of all BALAK’s products during the campaign period will be put towards purchasing goods from local entrepreneurs before donating them to select charities.
